Vegan Cheez Sauce
This is a great tasting alternative to a cheese sauce. Spice it up for a mexican fair or eat it plain.
Yields: 4 Servings
1/2 can (10 oz) Rotel mild or medium per taste
2 tablespoon Corn starch
1/2 cup Cashews raw
1 cup Water
2 teaspoon Salt
1/4 cup Nutritional yeast (brewers yeast)
1/4 cup Oat flour (ground oatmeal)
2 tablespoon Lemon juice
1 teaspoon Onion powder
1 ea Jalapeno peppers or 1/2 can green chilies
Blend all ingredients together with the 1 cup of water until very smooth.
Pour in sauce pan with 1/2 cup of boiling water.
Cook over med heat stiring continualy until think.
